To our loyal New England Country Music Club Members--
Our Jamborees are held twice a month-
as always at our "home base" is the
VFW #1385
13 Cross Road (Rte. 16)
Uxbridge, MA
From 1:00 - 5:00 PM
We'll be waiting for you at the door!
and Jeanne our favorite bartender will be waiting to serve you in the hall!
She also has coffee on hand for purchase!
See Ya Then,
Stay Well & Healthy!
...and when you're in the neighborhood and you want a good place to relax OR you're looking for a great hall for a special function you are planning...
THINK OF THE UXBRIDGE VFW FIRST!
Contact Anne for Hall Rental-- 508-278-7540 You'll be glad you did!!!
With a little bit of luck, this button should take you to the top of the page--
try it just for laughs!!!!
Well, maybe it won't. We will keep trying.
...In case you're wondering why this page has "Durango Mango" in its address, it is merely because it has been created as a special page off of the band's website.
The reason, you ask? I'll tell you.
We have unlimited pages to work with--
SO! This e-letter is not costing your club a dime... no fees, no labor
(although there is lots of it, it is a labor of LOVE)
AND Homestead.com is probably one of the easiest sites to work in.
If you are planning your own page try them.
...you will probably ALSO notice the only link to our band's site is in there with the
rest of the club's band sites-- hence no one can get their "nylons in a wad" over me taking advantage of Durango Mango's site to God Forbid, promote that band. However, I wouldn't
mind if you do visit Durango Mango's website- We WILL be back, unfortunately it will be without Eric, and that will be the hardest part.
If you would like to sign the Guest Book and let us know you have visited our Online E-Letter"- Please do so. THANKS!
Note- Contact information for the New England Country Music Club Officers can be found at the end of this newsletter.

THE INFORMATION ABOVE IS CORRECT.
WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF UPDATING THIS PAGE 4/21/2013

At the March 4th meeting the members voted unanimously to discontinue the Pot Luck Lunches that accompany our Jamborees. We even took a poll at the Jamboree to get input from folks who couldn’t attend the meeting to vote. From casual attendees to dyed-in-the-wool regulars the consensus was the same... Take our chances on a capacity of under 99 attendees in the hall and give the volunteers who cook and work in the kitchen the opportunity to enjoy their day!
There will be of course, special functions in which we will serve food. That will be brought up later in this letter. For now, we must stress the fact that beginning at our April 7th Jamboree, no buffet will be served. NOW, here is Part II—
It will not be permissible to bring food from home into the club. But, if you can’t eat before you come to the Jamboree, it is permissible to order “Take Out” from the menus that will be provided by local restaurants. Along with that goes this request. If you do order take out, please be responsible to clean up after yourselves. In other words, just please discard any trash in the bins. Beverages still must be purchased at the bar, it is the VFW’s livelihood and they have gone the extra mile for the NECMC time and time again. It is the least we can do for them.
Please remember, these rules dealing with the amount of attendees we can have in the hall without serving food are handed down to us through the town of Uxbridge and we must comply. At each jamboree we do have to know how many people are in the hall. The good news is; it doesn’t look like we will have to turn anyone away because the average jamboree attendance is between 75 to 90 people, and again, there will be food provided for special events so we will not have to worry about surpassing the limit which has been specified.
So, in essence after 3 years of mandatory food service, we can finally return to the format of the last 43 years!
