JAMBOREES! JAMBOREES! JAMBOREES!
Happy Birthday to yoooou!
NOTE: Beginning in 2010 all NECMC Applications will give you the option to have your Birthday listed. We will wish you "Happy Birthday" in our newsletter and at the first Jamboree of the month.
In the meantime, if you would like to be included in 2010's Birthday List- email me now at
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
The New England Country Music Bylaw book explains that no membership lists are allowed to be copied and handed out to anyone. This is in an effort to protect your privacy.
However at the May 2008 NECMC meeting, a vote was taken and passed to include an "option" on our 2009 applications for all members to decide for themselves whether they will allow their addresses to be given to others ONLY for the purpose of sending cards or notes in the event of illness of a member or a death in a member's family or the death of a member.
Also, we would like your permission to use your photo in the "Celebrity Contest." We would appreciate it if you will allow us to make you a "Celebrity" in our newsletter- this too, is optional.
The 2010 application the permission options will read;
In the event of illness or death of member or family member, will you allow the NECMC to post your address for get well or condolence cards? Please circle one *** Yes No
CELEBRATE! It's your BIRTHDAY! We would like to make monthly Birthday announcements at Jamborees and in newsletters of members' Birthdays! (Optional) Please tell us your birth date so we can acknowledge you!

...and when you're in the neighborhood and you want a good place to relax OR you're looking for a great hall for a special function you are planning...
THINK OF THE UXBRIDGE VFW FIRST!
Contact Anne for Hall Rental-- 508-278-7540 You'll be glad you did!!!
This page was last updated: January 23, 2010
With a little bit of luck, this button should take you to the top of the page--
try it just for laughs!!!!
Well, maybe it won't. We will keep trying.
...In case you're wondering why this page has "Durango Mango" in its address, it is merely because it has been created as a special page off of our band's website.
The reason, you ask? We'll tell you.
We pay dearly for our band site but we have unlimited pages to work with--
SO! This e-letter is not costing your club a dime... no fees, no labor
(although there is lots of it, it is a labor of LOVE)
AND Homestead.com is probably one of the easiest sites to work in.
If you are planning your own page try them.
...you will probably ALSO notice the only link to our band's site is in there with the
rest of the club's band sites-- hence no one can get their "nylons in a wad" over us taking advantage of our own site to God Forbid, promote our own band. However, we wouldn't mind if you do visit Durango Mango's website- you are always welcome!
If you would like to sign the Guest Book and let us know you have visited our Online E-Letter"- Please do so. THANKS!
Note- Contact information for the New England Country Music Club Officers for 2009-2010 can be found at the end of this newsletter.

Originally, we were giving free passes to the first correct mailed in answer to our celebrity game. Then we changed it so everyone would have a fair chance to get in a lottery drawing by giving a “mail in” deadline.
NOW We think it will be easier to accept not only mail in- but sealed envelopes at our jamborees with your name and the correctly identified celebrity’s name before the deadline date. Then, we will enter all the names of ALL our members who have mailed OR handed us the correct answer. This will make it easier for you to participate if you can’t mail your answer before deadline time.
This month’s Celebrity Game deadline will be—February 8th—we are trying to make it easier for you to win—but please don’t make it difficult for us- No phone calls please and we prefer a sealed envelope merely so your submission won’t get lost with all the other paperwork we carry back and forth to Jamborees... and, for your efforts
You could win a FREE meal! The most it will cost you is an envelope and/or a stamp...and that’s a DEAL!
NEW POLICY to make even the odds for everyone!
All entries will be placed in a “lottery” to select the winner.
